Is written by Paul Levitz, illustrated by Marcus To and John Dell and has a cover by Guillem March. I enjoyed the read and the art, and, at first, I was just going to review it (with a positive score). However, I've been reading and hearing a lot of complaints about and issues surrounding female characters in some of the New 52 titles, including characters I'm familiar with and like (like Catwoman and Starfire), so I decided to shine a little light on this title because there's so much that it gets right . It's not a "New 52," but it was launched at the same time. It's not perfect, and I am going to talk about some things that are not so good. For the most part, the issues are minor, but they should still be pointed out in hopes that someone will learn something. Despite some weird physics and a couple of abdominal anatomy issues, Huntress is a heroine that male and female readers can enjoy and admire. She's strong and sexy without flaunting her body as an object.
